Lowrider - Canyon Trip 7/9 -7/10

We headed out for a little break on a crew trip to see what was up offshore on Sat. Slid into to canyon and put 2 bars out a little short of the edge and got bit right away and went 2 for 2 on YFT,10 mins in,usually the kiss of death. Trolling up the east wall we got 2 more bites and boated both.Went on the slide for the night and all was quiet for us except some pilot whales having fun with our shark floats. Up on the troll in the morning and we got a 2-fer and dropped one. Got a couple more bites and put another one in the boat and lost another and had several clean misses on the spreader bars. After we pulled em in ,ended up 5 for 7 on 40-50lb YFT. It should continue to get better ....
